Mystical stones along the way
Between 4500 and 1000 BC peoples lived in Europe whose stone buildings still exist today

Obelix says hello: On the Homberg there is an almost two meter high menhir
(678,900/233,720). The landowner found it just below the surface of the ground
che, and he then placed it in front of the fence of his pasture. The "Keltenmürli", one of the
most impressive megalithic complexes in the Knonaueramt, lies hidden in the forest above
Herferswil (679"320/233'920). The well-preserved row of megaliths is L-shaped and
in all about 37 meters long and seven meters wide. Particularly evident are the
large, moss-covered stones of the north-south axis.
