The village was 3 km south of Eisendorf and had been a glassworks since 1768. Cycle route No. 36 goes through the area. Only the remains of the foundation walls of the former village can be seen. Before the end of World War II there were 29 houses with 136 inhabitants. From time to time a tent camp can be found at the former village pond.

Only the source of the former village fountain is reminiscent of Frančina Hut'. The fountain was repaired in 2001. Scouts from Chomutov have a camp on the adjacent meadow and look after the well.
