On the summit of the 808 m high piece of stone is the 34 m high observation tower, which was built in 1974 and offers a wonderful view of the Upper Palatinate Forest and the Bavarian Forest, the Fichtel Mountains and across the border to the Czech Republic. The all-round platform was built in 2017 and can be reached via 144 steps. On the viewing platform there is a panorama pane for orientation and the "tower book".
