The jetty at the Weißen Düne is freely accessible and leads far out onto the Steinhuder Meer, as it is intended as a ship dock and the shore runs very flat into the lake here. The jetty is a popular, quiet resting place, at the end of which many people settle down with blankets and chairs. From here you can let your gaze wander over the entire Steinhuder Meer to Steinhude, to the Kali-Berg over the Rehburger Berge and back to the bathing beach. A very worthwhile detour, which also makes you forget the hustle and bustle on the beach very quickly.
