The hall church was built in 1686/87. It consists of a nave and a choir tower in the east, which was extended in 1687 with an octagonal timber-framed storey to house the clock tower and the belfry for the three church bells. The tower is topped by a bell dome crowned with a lantern.

The interior of the nave, with galleries built along the long sides, is spanned by a flat ceiling. It is opened to the choir, i.e., the ground floor of the choir tower, by a chancel arch.

Hiking

The oldest part of the church is the choir from the 13th century, which originally belonged to a Marian chapel. The narrow window in the chancel with a round arch also dates from this period. In 1687, the church tower was raised with a 'Wesch' dome and the nave was built in its present form.
The probably oldest surviving bell in the district of Ludwigsburg is hidden in the church. It can be heard every quarter hour. What is probably the only surviving Württemberg court organ is in the church.
