"Jesus Christ speaks: I am the door.
Whoever enters through me will be saved. "
"I am the way, I am the truth and the life.
There is no other way to God the Father. "
    (The Bible: John 10: 9, John 14: 6)
On the steep steps in the vineyards, we can recreate how the husbandman has to laboriously "work his way up." So it is everywhere in life: Who wants to come up, has to make an effort, but the way to the sky is another. The narrow entrance gate shows : The entrance to the stairway to heaven must first be found and crossed. "Jesus is the door." Through Jesus we come to heaven. Even the way up is tied to the one who has come down to bring us up. "Jesus is the way." The large gate above indicates the destination, the entrance to the sky, and the top of the cross is a reference to Jesus Christ, the door is open, the companion walks with you, and the view of the destination why not hesitate, please come in!

The parking lot at the wine press in Hohenhaslach is certainly the ideal starting point. From there you can choose how far and how high you want to go. The south-facing slope guarantees pleasant temperatures even with less sun. But since the Ochsenbachtal comes from the west, you will get caught in the wind and it could get uncomfortable from wind force 3. You just have to know. The view is great, the roads are paved and also suitable for people who are not so sure on their feet. Except for the long stairs.
And if you want to explore the area by bike, turn right after Freudental and go up the mountain.

Easy to walk vineyard stairs and station of the Weitblickweg. If you go from the bottom up, it is easier to read the individual signs on the way.
