In the first part of the forehead light to drive down demanding, as the switchbacks on the steep slope offer the potential to slide down the slope. As soon as you have mastered the 5 hairpin bends, you come to a forest path with a small drop. From there another trail goes towards Oberrosphe. It is very narrow at the beginning, but it becomes wider and faster. The trail ends shortly before entering the village (coming from Schönstadt) of Oberrosphe.

We preferred to walk up this path and not go down there. The ascent is more comfortable for the knee joints. One should not underestimate the steep path.
