The "Wiesengrund" nature reserve, designated in 2003, is located in the area of the town of Altlandsberg and the municipality of Neuenhagen near Berlin. The approximately 117.5 hectare nature reserve stretches along the Erpe (Neuenhagener Mühlenfliess). Within the nature reserve there is also the separately designated FFH area no. 438 "Wiesengrund" with a size of approx. 84.2 ha. The FFH area is a section of the "Erpe" with its adjacent lowland biotopes, small floodplain forests with alder or alder-ash and some broken alder forests.
