The monument dedicated to Andrea Rossi, Pilot of the Thousand, in the gardens of Piazza Dante next to the parish church, was erected by Armando Zago, who won the municipal competition with a public subscription and cost L. 4,500; It was commissioned on July 31, 1911 and inaugurated on the following August 6.
The monument was restored on the occasion of the 2007 Garibaldi celebrations, during which the "Andrea Rossi Risorgimental Section" was inaugurated on June 23 at the Municipal Archaeological Museum, with an exhibition of Andrea Rossi's correspondence with Garibaldi and various memorabilia donated by heirs.
