On our hike, the restaurant was actually closed. (opened about 3-4 hours later)

Since the door of the restaurant was open, we asked for a coffee.
He made a pot of coffee especially for us and we set up a table and chairs with him in front of the restaurant when the weather was wonderful. (see pictures)
We brought our cake ourselves (Jesus Baker in Görlitz 👍), asked the host if that was okay with him. He agreed.
Of course we gave a good tip or "consumption money" for the things we had brought with us.

In the 18th and 19th centuries, the court inn belonged to the Vetter family, and later the Preuß family took over the business. In 1910, they obtained permission to serve their guests not only in the bar, but also at tables on the church square. From ???, the Leutert family took over the business. They also ran the business privately in the GDR. They retired in 1989. Since then, the court inn has been leased out again and again before Valentin Klepatzki opened it in spring 2012 after extensive renovation and refurbishment work.
