The Wäschebach Bridge had to be rebuilt after the flood in summer 2021. Since May 18, 2022, it has now been officially opened as a suspension bridge made of galvanized steel. The bridge leads both hikers and climbers on the castle climbing route over the water. With a length of 35 meters and a height of around 8 meters above the Lieser, it is a highlight and a swinging experience at the same time, although the path there lies so inconspicuously behind the upper castle.

Here the Lieser bubbles. Directly at the tournament meadow the bridge stands and leads to the Niederburg and back on the road from which one can run the Rittersteig as well as into the village

A via ferrata set is required for the via ferrata. And of course a head for heights. Then it's safe and fun.
