One of the most famous panoramic mountains in the Vorarlberg Oberland. Best with the train up to Muttersberg and then the steep mountain path up to Fraßenhütte and then to the summit. When the weather is nice, the panorama into the Montafon, Klostertal and Großwalsertal.

PS: The summit cross makes something - there others could cut a slice ;-)

Hiking

At Hohen Frassen you have a wonderful view over Bludenz and the numerous Alpine peaks. The southern ascent can get pretty hot in summer. The paths on the north side run through coniferous forests and offer you additional cooling shade on hot days. The ascent from Raggal in the Great Walser Valley via the Nitzkopf is recommended.
