    This is great - a separated cycle path on one of London's busy roads with great views along the River Thames. Its building was predictably opposed by taxi drivers and the rest of the motoring lobby. I think it was this cycle path that led to the ridiculous claim by Lord Blabbermouth of Climate Change Denial that Transport for London had done more damage to London than the Luftwaffe. Its now full of cyclists and I hope it will be widened to make even more efficient use of the road space to prioritise moving numbers of people rather than weight of metal.

      This did not used to be here and cycling along the south bank was pretty sketchy. But it's great. Although you do find a lot of runners now choose to run in the bike path, which is annoying. But they are still better than cars.
