The owner happened to be there and allowed us to take a look inside. Really impressive, even if mostly only the shell is there. But you get an idea of how dull and crappy the service of the border guards must have been in GDR times. Never again war!

Cycling

This former leadership tower is now privately owned. During GDR times, a BT 9 and an older, now demolished round tower temporarily stood in the immediate vicinity. Today you can find a replica of a border pillar at this point.
