The parish church of St. Barbara was commissioned by the mining company. It is dedicated to Saint Barbara, the patron saint of miners. The church was built in neo-gothic style as a reinforced concrete structure and filled with brick walls. The church is 56 meters long and has a 53 meter high tower.
