On the way up we recommend a short detour to Montemezzo to the church of San Martino in Burano.
When descending, it is advisable to take a short break so as not to overtax the brakes.
The hike from San Bartolomeo over the Alpe di Mezzo to Monte Berlinghera is also very nice and of course you can end the day in the valley: 5 Case - Ristorante Lario - Pizzeria Spluga, to name just a few. An ice cream at Olmo is also highly recommended.
