Pian di Spagna together with Lake Novate Mezzola constitute a nature reserve of approximately 1,600 hectares located between Valtellina and Valchiavenna. Beautiful dirt paths within it that can be traveled with MTB and Gravel.

The Pian di Spagna and Lago di Mezzola Nature Reserve is a protected natural area located in the provinces of Como and Sondrio. The reserve includes Lake Mezzola and the northernmost portion of Lake Como, called Pian di Spagna[1], for an area of just under 1600 hectares.
