Komoot currently marks the 515-meter-long section of the mountain road from the edge of Lengerich to the forest car park on the ridge as a "section where cycling is prohibited" and avoids it accordingly when planning routes. But that doesn't seem to be right.
We passed by there yesterday, on July 7, 2023, and there was neither a barrier, nor any sign prohibiting cycling, nor any other problem (apart from the steep incline, the burning sun, and the usual car idiots overtaking at a distance of less than 2 meters).
