The view of the water on one side and the city on the other, as well as hardly any crossing traffic or traffic lights, form the ideal combination for relaxed driving. Clearly preferable to cycle paths through the city, especially on longer journeys.

Beautiful loop tour. An unusual and wonderful way to explore NYC. Start from the southern end of Battery park to Central Park. The route along the west shore is splendid and full of amenities and beautiful views. The one to the east is still developing but passes through some iconic places. Don't miss it.

This is one of the best way to go through the city on your bike while enjoying nice views. You ride on a dedicated bike lane protected from cars. It's pretty awesome!
