Because of the quite a lot of traffic lights and footpaths, it is not sporty to drive on, but all the more time you have to enjoy the view of the Hudson or the city on the other side. And the aircraft carrier with many different aircraft (Concorde for example) on deck is really a must. There is also a submarine tour.

The southern part is not so nice. But overall it is a great bike path that runs through the whole of NYC along the Hudson. Very busy and should be ridden with caution.
