Tips
The alternation between old trees and wide meadows characterize the Westpark. On warm summer evenings, this is not the quietest corner either. A special place, however, is the small islet, which is connected to the park paths by a narrow bridge. There is also a special line of sight to the park pond.

The West Park has served many different functions over time: At the turn of the century in 1900, it served as a zoo, and during the First World War it was a convalescent home for soldiers.
