In 1900 Leon de Nevel and wife Delphina Cools had a neo-Gothic family chapel built in Blommerschot in memory of their parents August Cools and Maria Van de Brande. It is a small brick structure with a wooden canopy and green painted door. Because it is a private chapel, there is no public devotion.
