Finland has many gravel roads that are quite enjoyable on a road bike. This is NOT one of them.

Washboard (“police chief’s curls” in Finnish) all across the road in many places, and loose rocks and potholes elsewhere, and in the summer this is surprisingly popular with cars. Best enjoyed on a full-suspension bike, but I still ride here once every year or two to see if it still sucks (and it always does).

pretty rough all year around if you ask me, very washboardy and often quite a bit of car traffic as well, I’d recommend taking the highway or Torpmalmsvägen instead
