the shoulder is really wide with good asphalt (almost) throughout so certainly not unsafe to ride on, but tbh I’d only recommend this if you are in a big hurry and have a nice tailwind, otherwise the side roads via Fagervik (west of this segment), Täkter and the wooden bridge over Siuntio river are much more pleasant; Innanbäck–Degerby is the only part of this I do myself on a semi-regular basis

A fairly boring and heavily trafficked highway with speedlimits 80-100km/h. However the shoulder is superiwide 1.50 - 2.00 meters. Make sure you have a tail light.

Recommended and with a nice landscape (but maybe an earplug is advised for traffic noise), for long distance cyclists (that means a lot of kilos weight of luggage) that after some months traveling maybe bored of visiting every farm, inspecting every field, photoshoot every flower, counting every bird following gravel roads with a series of steep uphill pushing the bike, long kilometers detours and low traffic but high speed cars, trucks and worst crazy motorcycles that locals drive blindly without caring that you are there and you will eat their dirt, and pollution, and maybe some rocks if you are unlucky 😔. Until now (starting fron Turku) there is no real proper Eurovelo route in Norway that covers long distance route, that means straightforward, as less as steep possible (should be like train routes), paved, and separated from cars. I think Germany is the best in intercity cycling ways.

Thanks Anna for the info you provide. Saved me from a lot of unnecessary detours.
