The first church building on this site (from 1288) was burned down in the Thirty Years' War, the second (1655) fell victim to the great city fire of 1706. Today's baroque building was built in 1709-21 according to plans by Wenzel Perner. The facade tower was added in 1726. There is also an organ case from around 1720 and wooden figures from around 1500.
