Spessart: Promising circular hiking trail
The Spessartspur starts at the "Altenmarkskopf" car park in the immediate vicinity of the culturally and historically interesting Hof Trages. The forest hiking trail leads north around the eponymous "Altenmarkskopf" at a height of 268.9 m, crosses the Bavarian-Hessian state border and leads through the Erlenbruch to the Michelbacher Wanderheim with a stop for refreshments. The Spessart trail leads slowly uphill to the state border via the "Rodenbacher Weg" and then back to the starting point on forest paths.
