Hiking
According to legend, Barbarossa is said to have camped here with his entourage. They were attacked by the knights of the Ronneburg. Peasants from the area rushed to the emperor's aid, armed with flails and pitchforks, and defeated the attackers. In gratitude, the emperor granted the peasants a great deal of freedom. Even today, the place is recommended to take a break here.
