Gypsum Mill – Copper Smelter
The path now leads through the Hörseltal to the gypsum mill. There at the edge of the forest was the location of a copper smelter. A slag heap, which extends from the ponds to the railway line and is sometimes up to three meters thick, bears witness to this location. A pond in the hut provided enough water to operate the technical equipment.
