Friedrichroda - Rennsteig Runde, 9.4.26.
Zuhause ist, wo man geboren wurde und das Herz spürbar schlägt. Meines in Thüringen, darauf bin ich stolz. Es gibt nicht viel zu beschreiben. Jeder, der den Rennsteig sucht oder in findet, macht sich sein persönliches Bild. Ja wir wissen, das der Waldbestand, insbesondere die Nadelwälder, die letzten Jahre sehr rückläufig geworden sind. Traurige, abgestorbene Abschnitte sind sehr oft zu sehen. Aber, Hoffnung besteht. Viele kleine, junge Nadelbäume versuchen groß und stark zu werden. Wenige andere Bäume sind so kräftig und alt das sie den "Orden" Natudenkmal erhalten haben 🙏. Diese Runde ist sehr schön zu erwandern, gemächlich bergauf, vorbei an der Maria Quelle und den Resten der Schauenburg. Lustigerweise befindet sich in der Nähe eine Schaukel an einem Baum. Die Kunst wäre, auf dieser zu sitzen (hängt verdammt hoch) und den Mut zum schaukeln zu finden😁. Fazit des Tages,Runde zu empfehlen🤗.

Von Hörschel hinauf zur "Sonne", 6.4.26.
"Ich wandre ja so gerne am Rennsteig durch das Land...." 🎶 Wohl schon ein Rennsteig Klassiker und sicherlich mehrfach zu finden in diversen Wanderapps, diese Einstiegsetappe ab Hörschel 😉... Ich weiß warum, weil bekannt und beliebt 🤗. An diesem Tag war der Marsch, welcher mich hinauf zur Hohen Sonne führte, eine Wanderung zur offiziellen festlichen Einweihung des neuen Gebäudes. Bedauerlicherweise musste das alte, einst bewirtschaftete Jagdschloss, (Hohe Sonne) abgerissen werden. Es wurde zügig durch einen recht modernen Neubau ersetzt, welcher sich leider für mich persönlich, optisch nicht mit der Natur verbindet. Die Drachenschlucht befindet sich in unmittelbarer Nähe.

Kohlbachs-Waldrunde, 3.4.26.
Manchmal ist das Schöne so nah... Heute, zum Osterauftakt, ging es ein Stück in den Kohlbachswald bei Gerstungen. Überraschend , was es doch so zu entdecken gab. Ein kleiner, privater Friedhof mitten im Wald, ein altes Zigeunergrab, das Gipfelkreuz der Arnsberge und versteckte Schutzhütten. Im letzten Abschnitt findet man die Kohlbachquelle, deren Wasser zum trinken geeignet ist. Wer mal nicht weit von zu Hause weg möchte oder erstaunlicherweise ein paar Höhenmeter machen will,(ich habe für unsere Region nicht damit gerechnet🤣), dem wird die Tour sicher gefallen 🙃.
