The mystical wooden figure comes from a legend that is supposed to have happened at Eisenhardt Castle. A knight who loved the castle captain's daughter unspeakably fell out of the castle to death, out of love's pain. As a result, the beloved damsel became unconscious, got a nervous fever and died. Centuries later, her spirit appeared to a shoemaker as a white woman in the pale moonlight, which soon became the talk of the town. The artist made this white woman at the scene and from a tree stump there.Material: beech trunk, height: 4.20 mSource: kunst-land-hoher-flaeming.de/int.-kunstwanderweg/kunstwerke/wettbewerb-an-der-nordroute.html
