The half-timbered gable with tower tower and lantern belongs to a reconstruction from 1712 on. The building survives as one of the few buildings the city fire in 1619 and serves up to the edification of the town church in 1690 as a house of prayer. The belt cornice of the town hall still has a hollow throat covered by water hammer. Above the round-arched entrance is a stone with the coat of arms of Schaumburg and the inscription: -ANNO 1607 THE STATKELLER - walled in. Only the one gable and the square, covered with shingles ridge, in which the bells of the towerless church is housed, are executed in half-timbered. The weathercock of the octagonal lantern, which rises above the low tent roof of the ridge turret, is dated 1712. In 1908 the building was renovated. In 1929, a new clock system was installed in the ridge turret. The former council room is used as registry office. In the year 2000, the clockwork in the roof ridge was renovated and rebuilt on the upper floor.

The two-storey quarry stone building has a coat of arms with the year 1607. While the bell tower with lantern was added in 1712, the arcade on the ground floor was only broken into the masonry in the course of the 20th century.

Nice here, but there is nothing to eat or drink
