Completion of the vicarage on the site of the derelict cottage. This completes the ensemble of preaching house, church and (old) vicarage - the heart of the historic village of Gruiten. In the next 200 years, the pastor's families live in this vicarage, and then the sexton's families from 1964 to 2005. Since 1965 it has (also) housed the municipal office.
