"Natz von Dülmen" is a term and has become a well-known trademark for the city. He can be found as a down-to-earth and hospitable "Natz" on brochures, posters and promotional stickers. People living in Dülmen have embodied this "Natz" for over 150 years.

"Heribert Töns is now well-versed in his role as Dülmener Natz. In May he replaced his predecessor Herbert Möllers and has since been the sixth Natz on city tours, bike tours and the like. Of course, the classic clothing with a striped shirt, red scarf, cap and wooden shoes is a must. How the 61-year-old came to his unusual job and what it all entails was revealed by Töns in an interview with DÜLMENplus employee Lena Riekhoff..."
