This small chapel is located north of Herbstein and was built in 1853/54 in a mix of Swiss house and English Tudor architectural styles. What is striking about this building are the blood-red frames of the niches and the mighty oak beams.

Every year there is a procession to the chapel on the Sunday after the feast of the Exaltation of the Cross (September 14th). Behind the chapel is the small private cemetery of the Westerholt and Ballestrem families.
