The cities of Bogen in Bavaria and Slavonice in South Bohemia have succeeded in generating funding from the European Fund for a joint cross-border project. The “Europapark Bayern-Bohemia” was created in Bogen as a green lung in the city center, and the Bohemian city of Slavonice revitalized the “Park of Mariz” with its unique larch avenue. Both areas are intended, on the one hand, for local recreation and, on the other hand, to offer the opportunity for mutual presentation of culture and customs from Bavaria and Bohemia.
