A cool rest area can be reached from Driburger Grund via the "Viadukt Wanderweg". A narrow footbridge leads from the path to a noticeable incision in the slope. In this incision, driven into the slope by iron mining, water emerges from the rocky subsoil in three places.
It flows in small rivulets into a dammed pond. The basin was created by an opencast mine over four hundred years ago. The original name for the spring did not come into use until the beginning of the last century.
According to tradition, two railway workers from Altenbeken gave the source its name because they regularly chose this place for a leisurely rest on their hikes. These two were real Altenbeken originals.
In the population they were known as a funny couple, as "Max and Moritz".
