Location: Barbian - Barbiano, South Tyrol, Italy
One of the strangest sights in South Tyrol is the 38 meter high, leaning tower of the parish church of St. James in Barbian. The church dates from the 14th century and the top of the tower has had this 1.57 meter deviating inclination for just as long.

Unique is the 38 meter high, leaning church tower in the middle of Barbian, just a few minutes' walk from the Gasthof Rösslwirt. Half of its foundation is rocky and half is earth. The church is a testament to the Romanesque period. It was built in the 12th to 14th centuries. More information: roesslwirt.com/de/barbians-schiefer-turm.php
