Here in this place near Zainingen, the night sky is particularly dark, which makes the stars in the night sky very good to watch.
A stone plate in the ground indicates the cardinal directions and thus facilitates orientation.
There are also explanations about the starry sky and artificial light on two information boards.

Due to the dark night sky, the stars can be observed here especially well. No artificial light that bothers. Two benches are specially built so that you can comfortably study the starry sky. There are also two information boards about artificial light and the starry sky.
A stone plate in the ground, on which the directions are displayed, facilitates the orientation!

Great idea to set up a stargazing station. Especially since the former military training area is in one direction and there is no light pollution from there.
