The old castle water mill became a theatre.

Teatret Møllen is a theater located in the middle of Haderslev town and has existed since 1974. It is performed locally at the old castle watermill in Haderslev, as well as in theatres, theater societies, schools and cultural institutions throughout Denmark, as well as at theater festivals. About 120 (children's) performances are shown each year at Teatret Møllen and during the tour around the country.
Children are often present in the theater as the theater administers Haderslev Municipality's school theater scheme, which allows all children in the municipality to go to the theater once a year.
