The "Alter Pferdestall" building belonged to Berghoff's property, which was demolished in 1972 and was a large post office for the imperial post office until 1880. In 1880 the doctor Dr. medical Karl Berghoff the entire property of the former post office. The clinker building was now used as a horse stable and to house the carriages with which the doctor drove across the country to look for patients. The colloquial name "horse stable" comes from this time. Today the building houses exhibitions arranged in four rooms. They show both domestic exhibits from the life of people in earlier times as well as agricultural and handicraft equipment, especially from Eckartsbergaer companies. There is a whole range of original pieces and original features to look at. Large agricultural equipment and machines are set up outside.
