The rocks of Yvoir better known as the "Rocher du Paradou". All routes are perfectly secured, ideal for beginners and training. Every now and then you come across an old hook.

The rocks of the Paradou are located on the right bank of the Meuse, between Godinne and Yvoir. The first signs of climbing activities date from 1930, when the massif was known as 'Rochers du Fidevoye'. The first sub-massifs to be climbed were La Grande Dalle (now Dalle Impériale), L'Aiguille, les Dalles Supérieures and L'Arche (now La Grotte). In 1995 the massif came under the management of the KBF Flanders. From the start, a lot of attention was paid to making the massif climbable. A lot of work was done: installing a fence, building a path, cleaning rocks, plotting routes and hooking up. All this was done by an enthusiastic group of volunteers, and they are still called upon for maintenance work. Rock massif near Yvoir.

Beautiful climbing area. There is a hiking trail along the bottom of the track, from which you can always get a good view of the activity on the rocks. You should avoid the path directly under the walls without a helmet when it is busy (as is usually the case at weekends). You can also hike to the upper edge of the rocks. Keep your head down in the tunnel under the track.
