We are here in the national nature reserve of Champalle – Poilvache (51 ha), of which we will cross the Rochers de Champalle sector (32 ha). These rocks extend for more than a kilometer on the right bank of the Meuse. They are 60 meters high and have very rich areas of limestone lawns at the top, well exposed from south to southwest. There we discover superb panoramas over the Meuse valley. The panorama covers, on the left bank of the Meuse, the village of Anhée, the entrance to the Molignée valley, the beautiful classical buildings of Moulins Abbey and the modern Yvoir bridge towards Anhée.
