The church was built of granite stone in the 15th century, but was destroyed in the 19th century. The sources do not say how and why. In 1893, the reconstruction of the church began using mostly original material supplemented with new brick.

Built at the turn of the 14th and 15th centuries, Gothic. Tower from the 15th - 16th centuries. Rebuilt after a fire in the years 1721-1723. Further fires in 1869 and 1964.
