The Church of Our Lady of the Assumption is located in the heart of the town of Bernardswiller, in the Bas-Rhin department.
The building was constructed between 1495 and 1497 in a neo-Gothic style on the site of an earlier monument. The place of worship is dedicated to the Virgin Mary and Saint Sebastian and was part of the parish of Obernai. The stained-glass windows in the nave, created by Maréchal, depict various scenes from the Passion of Christ.
