Since spring 2011, the Weser Skywalk has been perched atop the Hanoverian Cliffs near Würgassen. The observation deck consists of two levels, one of which extends five meters over the cliffs. The Weser Skywalk offers magnificent views of the Weser Valley and the canopy of the primeval beech and oak forest. The almost 80-meter-high Hanoverian Cliffs near Würgassen have existed in their current form for thousands of years. They have always been a special eye-catcher, and with an area of approximately 26 hectares, they are the only natural rock formations of significant size in this region.
