Hiking
The Söse is a tributary of the Rhume. It is 38 km long and originates near Kamschlacken. In front of Osterode, it is dammed up in the Sösetalsperre and is used to supply drinking water. It flows through i.a. the districts of Förste and Dorste. Before Katlenburg it flows into the Rhume.
