Nördlingen has a charming historic old town with beautiful streets and squares. The historic city wall path is a nice highlight - cycle along it or walk directly on the city wall.

Beautiful old town. A tourist highlight. Still not as crowded as Rothenburg or Bamberg. Therefore, an extra plus for the great atmosphere in Nördlingen.

The Nördlinger old town you have to run. At every turn one is rewarded with picturesque angles.

Nördlingen was a thriving place in the Middle Ages because it was on an important trade route at that time. Its cityscape has changed little over the centuries. We would describe it as a mini Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Beautiful half-timbered houses and Renaissance architecture can be seen in the city center. The circular city wall and its imposing towers invite you to take a tour.
