Baldinger Gate (Nördlingen City Gate)

First officially mentioned in 1376. In 1938, a new round-arched passage for two-lane traffic was built into the wall west of the gate.

The Nördlingen city wall is the only city wall in Germany that has a completely preserved, accessible and covered battlement. With a length of 2.7 kilometers, it encloses the entire medieval city center of Nördlingen.
