I think it's great that such relics are preserved and remind us of old times.
Parallel to this, east of the Old Salt Road, there is an equally quaint but slightly narrower cobbled street that is closed to "normal" car traffic.
You can easily walk on these cobbled streets, but it's more problematic with a bike and can be a physical and material stress test, especially uphill.
