"This premium trail leads over the Schneifel, a mountain range west of Prüm. A lot of forest in different forms and a few wide views up to the heights of Islek, Ösling and the High Fens delight the hiker. And of course the moors, which consist of many rivulets dine in the headwaters of the Alfbach and through which you are guided over boardwalks."

"This hike is certainly the most densely wooded of all Eifel tours in the NaturWanderpark delux. The color palette of the wet and broken forests of this highest forest in the North Eifel Nature Park changes with every season. It goes almost flat through the headwaters of the Alfbach, which consists of dozens of rivulets, moors and ponds To protect fauna and flora, the path leads over boardwalks in particularly sensitive areas. Here you can discover rare plants such as the bell heather or the forest lousewort. About halfway along the forest backdrop opens up to the grandiose "three-country view ". Here, a platform invites you to linger and, in good weather, offers a unique view of the mountains of Islek, Ösling and the High Fens."
